Dental Lasers and Your Cold/Canker Sores
I'm sure you are well aware that the use of lasers is on the rise. The FDA has been busy approving their use for a wide range of therapies virtually head to toe. Lasers have now been approved for hair regeneration, toe nail fungus, and everything in between. We have had our laser for a year and finding more applications all the time. One of the most exciting is its use on a developing cold sore. When caught in prodromal or 'developing stage', exhibiting the tingling symptoms, it can often be stopped completely from turning into the open or crusted over sore.
